Elder Barlow was born 17 July 1947 at Coranado Naval Base, CA and was raised in the small Idaho town of Jerome. Elder Barlow served a mission to Scotland when he was 19 and graduated from BYU in 1971. Sister Barlow was born 3 May 1949 in Baltimore, MD and spent her growing-up years in Severna Park, MD. Sister Barlow was baptized in June 1980 and moved to Salt Lake City the following year. She had never been married and Elder Barlow was widowed with four children when they met on a blind date and a few months later were married in the Jordan River Temple. We have six children: Brad (Kalynne); Scott (Alecia); Tricia (Gordon); Stacey (Joel); Pam (Don); and Tyson (Karlee). As of July 2012, these six couples have brought 24 grandchildren to the family. After living in Lehi, UT for 17 years, we moved to Santaquin, UT in 1995. Brother Barlow worked for Flowserve Corp. in Springville, UT for 30 years, retiring 30 June 2012. Sister Barlow started her working career as a legal secretary in Washington, D.C. and retired as a Resource Technician for the Nebo School District in Spanish Fork, UT May 2012.
